Clamp of a grapple
This project was realized during practical work sessions with three of my classmates during my second semester of my DUT in Mechanical and Production Engineering at the IUT of Bourges.
Job objective :
To design a clamp that could lift a 5 kg weight without cracking. We had to find a particular shape that had the property of being light but strong enough. We simulated the different efforts on the CAD software in order to predict the behavior of the product when it is subjected to particular constraints.

Inventor (Suite Autodesk) - Tools : Dynamic analysis
Total personal time spent :
around 9 hours
Results :
It allowed me to apply the knowledge I gained in traction, compression and flexion.
